The Ganga International School, Nelagadaranahalli held a Tiny Tots Exhibition recently The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Lakshmi Narasimha, the Secretary of the School. Students enthralled the parents with skits, rhymes, stories and dance. The creativity of the students was exhibited in a very exciting way.

Children’s day ‘Chinnara Habba” was celebrated .Sri Vani Education Centre Vice-Principal Ms. Karthiyayini Bhatt presided .

Rashtriya Military School

Weeks of frenetic activity and feverish preparation found culmination when Rashtriya Military School celebrated the 62 Annual Prize giving day.An exhibition of Art and Woodwork, and Science and Photography. wood carvings and artefacts characterized the wood work department endeavour.

The programme started with the arrival of the Chief Guest Brig Rakesh Mohan Mittal, Sena Medal Commandant MEG & Centre, Chairman of the Local Board of Administration. The Annual Report was presented by Lt Col P.K. Sharma, Principal of the school.The guests were treated to a mind boggling collocation of cultural events. The show began with a Sanskrit slok eulogising the nation. The great bard of Stratford upon Avon found representation in a 20- minute abridged version of the play ‘Twelfth Night.’

They may not have known the love of their parents, but they are hoping for a life filled with love.

Shriraksha, Manasi, Lakshmi and Pooja are the four girls chosen by the Srikrishna Balanikethana, a home for underprivileged children located in Kukkikatte, Udupi, of the 23 inmates for an honour from the State Bank of India, Udupi Branch.At the top

When the Bank asked the Bala Nikethana to find children in the age group 10 years to 12 years who are good in their studies, the four girls emerged toppers.

They are also good at extra curricular activities. The bank, under its Community Services Banking activity, honoured them with Rs. 5,000 each to meet their education and other related expenses.

Shriraksha’s dream is to become a teacher, while Manasi has dreams of becoming an engineer. Pooja and Laxmi, students of Std. IV, are yet to make up their mind, but are happy about the bank’s gesture.

Shrikrishna Balanikethana is founded by the Pejawar Math.Honours

The children were honoured by Vittal Shettigar, Chief Manager, SBI Udupi, and Ganesh Bhat, Regional Manager, SBI Regional Business Office, Mangalore.
