Race against time
The Hindu : In the fourth episode of “The Amazing Race Asia 2” after a hazardous last leg of the race, Sophie and Aurelia argued their way to the bottom of the rung. The two Hong Kong residents had better buck up if they want to remain in the race. The two ladies actually arrived at the previous pit stop in Auckland, New Zealand, seven hours after the last team, which means everyone else has a strong head start. So this time, teams get to experience the watery wonders of New Zealand, in more ways than one. First off, teams get to wade in one of the rivers with nothing except a float, life-jacket and… a helmet. If you’re wondering what swim requires the use of a helmet, so does poor Natasha. As soon as she sees the river, her first question to the people running the show is, “Has anyone ever died doing this?”Amidst the smoke and stench, which can be described as a combination of sulphur and rotten eggs, teams must take a dive in a brown, gooey pool. Will hunks Marc and Rovilson prove that brawn serves them better, when they face an arts and craft challenge?
